Experience M.A.M.A., the Villanova University sponsored organization to help families who need it most. This is an on-campus club which focuses primarily on single mothers struggling to support their families. Financially and morally we strive to give our efforts in providing a better life for those in need. Monthly, our efforts are directed on a single family in the Philadelphia area. Find out how you can contribute through MAMA to really make a difference in the community, and in the world.Branched off from the Villanovans For Life pro-life group, MAMA specifically helps those mothers who decided against decisions to abort their children, or created their family regardless of their situation. MAMA helps the mothers who are most in need; information is attained by the local non-profit Amnion Crisis Center in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Each month, we aim to provide what a mother needs most for her children such as clothing, baby formula, diapers and toys, as well as some extra spending money.
History
Achievements include our ability to prove that we can meet our goals and deadlines. The most rewarding experience has been the appreciation of the mothers we've been able to reach. Our most valuable success was last December, with a Christmas tree shopping list. Memebers used cards to write down items that our December mother needed. Students could choose a card, and be responsible for the item, enabling MAMA to give all that we could to our second mother of December for Christmas out of the three we helped that month.

Meetings
Join us MAMA Mondays at 7:30 pm in the Center for Peace and Justice in the Sullivan Hall basement. Meetings consist of planning our fundraisers and events. Come by, meet the crew, you can help out, or just be part of the group. See ya there!We are currently located on campus at:
